Business Operating Model

Operating Model & Business Units

The transition from Corridor Operating Model to the Business Unit Operating Model is designed to better align our business with industry and regulatory requirements, enhance efficiency, and meet the evolving needs of our customers. Together, we will build a more agile and competitive TFR. With Rail Reform introducing competition from other Train Operating Companies (TOCs), TFR is critically assessing and refining its operations to maintain a competitive edge by putting the customer at the centre, planning and executing volumes excellently, building high-performing teams, improving efficiencies and maintaining the highest safety standards.
